cmntx records was founded with a mission to create a healthy ecosystem that provides a supportive platform–both artistically and financially–to artists defining their own craft. We believe the modern industry model that prioritizes streaming royalties does not provide consistency or stability for artists. We’ve designed a subscription program that cultivates a strong community while directly supporting artists on the label’s roster. Artists with recent releases receive a percentage of the monthly profits earned from the subscription platform. Subscribing to cmntx records is the easiest and most significant way to support the artists we work with and the production of their art, and it is all for the same monthly price as an album.
Our subscription tiers cater to those who curate a digital library and the diehard physical collectors alike. For $10 per month, subscribers get all new cmntx records digital releases, exclusive bonus tracks, and 20% off all merch. For Tier 2 subscribers at $12 per month, you automatically receive physical versions of applicable releases in addition to all the Tier 1 perks. Upon signing up, all subscribers will receive the last 12-months' digital releases and all prior "All Semantics" annual compilations (plus, some extras!).
